  • Protected: Family Appreciation Night was a Great Success (8/8/2018) - On April 28, 2018 the CF Bridge of Hope sponsored a Family Appreciation Night at the Tully Health Center in Stamford, CT to celebrate the children afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis and their families, who's devotion to their children's recovery is unrivaled. The event brought together the many families from around the New York Metropolitan area who have worked with Dr. Sadeghi and the CF Bridge of Hope. Moreover, it gave recognition to the many additional individuals and organizations who help the CF Bridge of Hope in its mission to provide medicines and treatment to children with CF in the US and around the world.   • Visit to Ecuador – August 2017 (11/26/2017) - On the invitation of the Cystic Fibrosis Congress, Dr. Sadeghi and Dr. Raissi visited Ecuador to share their expertise in current treatment methods and procedures with their counterparts in Quito. During their visit, Drs. Sadeghi and Raissi gave grand rounds, seminars and lectures to staff and participated in several round table discussions. They provided consultation to over a dozen patients during their 5-day visit. Together with local hospital staff, physicians, hospital managers and families, the Doctors also took part in the CF Walk of Awareness, to raise the level of understanding of CF.   • CF Bridge of Hope Event: Family Education Night at Tully Health Center (4/17/2017) - On April 27 The Cystic Fibrosis Bridge of Hope will host a Family Education Night at the Tully Health Center in Stamford, CT. This evening is organized specifically for families of children with Cystic Fibrosis. Dr. Sadeghi and his associates will share with families and other attendees and guests information about some of the most current treatment therapies as well as ways parents can help their children manage their CF symptoms.  We will also be providing an introduction to the work of the CF Bridge of Hope.   • A Recent Visit to Iran (4/7/2017) - In February 2017 Dr. Sadeghi and Dr. Raissi traveled to Iran to see over 40 children who are in various stages of Cystic Fibrosis.  During their 10 day visit, Dr. Sadeghi and Dr. Raissi gave several lectures at Pars Hospital in Tehran to families of children with CF, focusing on medical treatment and home therapy procedures to manage the patient's symptoms. They also worked to help start the Iranian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In the photo, in addition to Dr. Sadeghi and Dr. Raisi are physicians from Pars Hospital. Through the generosity of several pharmaceutical firms, we were also able to distribute airway clearance devices, vitamins, pancreatic enzymes and other medicines that will be made available to local patients.   • Dr. Sadeghi Recognized at the CF Foundation Greater NY Chapter Gala (4/1/2017) - On November 17, the Greater New York Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation held its "Breath of Life" gala in New York City. During this event our own Dr. Hossein Sadeghi was recognized for his work in supporting several innovative efforts to bring treatment and care to CF patients around the world.  During his acceptance of the award, Dr. Sadeghi referenced several of the patients which the CF Bridge of Hope has sponsored for treatment and receiving medicine in the United States, as well as many of his benefactors and supporters, including Senator Blumenthal and the Wilton Interfaith organization.  The video below shows Dr. Sadeghi's acceptance speech.
  • Our Next Patient Arrives (8/22/2016) - Thanks to all the team members and volunteers who assisted with Luka's management during his three week stay. Luka completed his treatment successfully and left the United States on Friday August 19th. The family celebrated Luka's arrival with his father to his home country of Georgia. Juan G. is the next Bridge of Hope patient. He is a 23 year old known CF patient from Ecuador who arrived in the United States on the evening of Friday August 19th. His evaluation began on Saturday August 20th. He is accompanied by his father and has assistance from his relatives in the area. Hossein Sadeghi, MD

The CF Bridge of Hope was established in 2012 to help children afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis in areas of the world where treatment and access to CF health and support services is not readily available.
