There are many ways you can assist with the work of the CF Bridge of Hope. We are always looking for volunteers to help with program development and management, professional and administrative.
The program was started with the help of various individuals and organizations. We’d like to recognize and give credit to the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore which helped us resolve visa issues for our first patient, legally set up the organization’s 501(c)3 not-for profit entity, worked with us to get the OFAT license, and help with obtaining the humanitarian approval for the patient. The Wilton Interfaith Action Committee (Wilton, CT) has provided housing, meals and financial support to our program.
We are always looking for people with specific expertise to help us with fundraising, educational programs, web site development and other services. We welcome physicians interested in supporting the project and helping CF patients, by offering their expertise and contributing to the development of the educational materials. We also welcome physicians in countries with weak treatment programs for CF to work with us to establish local treatment centers and administer treatment protocols for local patients.
